Vintage 90s Original Production cel and background from Troubles the Cat which was part of the Big Bag series on Cartoon Network and produced with Children's Television Workshop (now known as the Sesame Workshop for their best known IP Sesame Street). Big Bag ran for two seasons from 1996 -1998 and was a combination of live action an Muppet vignettes interspersed with animated segments. Troubles the Cat with designs by Santiago Cohen, was one of these segments. Troubles primarily focuses on the titular cat, Troubles, the family who owns her, and a few of their friends.
This is a beautiful full set up of Marina and Daniel with a sandwich on a fishing pole. This set-up includes a beautiful full face shot of Marina with Daniel holding a sandwich on a fishing pole and the matching background from the May Lin's Moustrous Fib episode (1997). We don't know exactly how many layers the cel, what the sequence numbers are or if it was trimmed because these Troubles cels were put in black paper matting before we received them and we've opted not to take them apart. This was presumably for some sort of exhibition and most have a label with the episode title on the back as well. Paper mats themselves have wear, bends and some have a few small tears. Cel(s) and background look to be in very good shape overall. Art from Troubles the Cat is uncommon and this is a beautiful cel with wonderful unique art and would look amazing as part of any animation cel collection or as just a beautiful unique piece of art!
Please note first image is cropped for detail, second image shows the the full cel and most of the mat (the full mat is too big for our scanner.
Please note that most of the items we sell are vintage collectibles often more than a decade old so please expect some wear and discoloration.
